According to the news of Indonesia News Net, about 20 years ago in October 2002, there was a fire during the repair of this mosque. It took five hours to douse the fire at that time. According to the police, no one was hurt in this accident.
The cause of the accident is being ascertained and the police have said that four workers of the contractor company who are repairing the mosque will be questioned.
