     Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, in a place called Harding County, located in the US state of Kentucky. His father’s name was Thomas Lincoln and his mother’s name was Nancy Lincoln. Apart from Abraham Lincoln, he also had an elder sister, whose name was Sarah Lincoln. His entire family was very poor. and lived in a wooden house built by himself. Thomas and Nancy had another son after Abraham who died in infancy. Lincoln’s father Thomas was a farmer, and he also worked as a carpenter.

      Two years after Lincoln’s birth, the Lincoln family had to leave the site due to a land dispute. After this, in 1811, he started living 13 km away from there, and there he started working by making the land suitable for cultivation. But after some time here too he had to face a land dispute and had to leave that place again. After this, in 1816, the Lincoln family settled on the banks of a river in Indiana, where they started farming in the dense forest and made that place habitable. Even today his house and fields are preserved as a monument.

But seeing the economic condition of the house, he had to help his father by working in the fields. And his father also never wanted him to study, due to which Abraham had to leave studies within a few days.

And he wanted to end slavery. With this thought, he entered politics and contested the election of MLA, but he had to face defeat in that election. Abraham had also left the postmaster’s job while contesting the elections. Due to which he was very short of money.

After which Abraham again contested the election of MLA. And this time he won the election. After that victory, Abraham was counted among the youngest legislators. Abraham Lincoln even got a license to become a lawyer after studying the flame. He did not take money from the poor to fight the case. And he never fought a false case all his life. Because of which Abraham also failed in advocacy but he failed but advocated for almost 20 years because that work gave him peace of mind.
