China has opposed calling the Russian attack on Ukraine an ‘invasion’. Foreign Minister Wang Yi also called Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Expressing grief over the current developments, he appealed to reduce the tension immediately. It also said that the legitimate security concerns of all concerned should be addressed.
President Moon Jae-in said his country would support the international economic sanctions imposed on Russia. Israel called the Russian attack a violation of the international order. Foreign Minister Jair Lapid condemned Russia and also said that Israel has good relations with both Russia and Ukraine. He also talked about the Jews living in both the countries. Said that their safety is important to Israel.
