As the United States prepares to celebrate the New Year, the US Census Bureau has released an estimated population of the United States, saying that the population of the United States of America will be 332,403,650 on January 1, 2022.

This represents a 0.21% increase in the population since New Year’s Day 2021, or an additional 706,899 people.

The population increased by 0.29% since the census day on April 1, 2020, covering 954,369 people during that period.

In January 2022, the United States is expected to experience one birth every nine seconds and one death every 11 seconds. Meanwhile, net international migration leaves the U.S. every 130 seconds. One person is expected to be added to the population.

By a combination of births, deaths, and net international migration, the U.S. There is an increase in the population of one person every 40 seconds.

The estimated world population as of January 1, 2022 is 7,868,872,451, an increase of 74,235,487 or 0.95% over New Year’s Day 2021.

During January 2022, there are expected to be 4.3 births and 2.0 deaths every second worldwide.
