ATLANTA – An incident on Monday afternoon forced residents in Midtown to seek shelter as Atlanta police announced a dangerous shooting on Peachtree Street and West Peachtree Street. The alleged shooter was eventually taken into custody at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after hours of effort.

Here’s what we know:
Atlanta police were first notified by phone call Monday at 1280 W Peachtree Street at around 1:45 p.m. They found two people with gunshot wounds. Investigating the scene, he was called to 1100 Peachtree Street around 2 p.m., where another person was injured.
The suspect fled the scene and is believed to be heading towards Colony Square. A tipster escorted officers to the airport where he was eventually taken into custody. A police report states that he had reached the airport by taxi.
Who is the alleged shooter?
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office released a mugshot of the suspect, which they now confirm is the shooter Raisa Kenge.
When will the suspect who shot him be produced in court?
Cage’s first appearance will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Fulton County.
Who are the victims?
Three people were injured in Monday’s firing. Out of which two people died, while another is injured.
The two people who died in the shooting were identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office as Michael Shiners, 60, and Wesley Freeman, 41. The name of the third victim was released by his family on Tuesday. His name is Mike Horn, and his family said he is still in the hospital.
Horn’s family said his condition was stable, but several organs were damaged. The family said that he would have to go through a long process of surgery.
According to their social media, Shiners, 60, worked for Beacon Management, which manages condos. Freeman was shot less than a mile away and died in the hospital.
What is the relationship between the alleged shooter and the victims?
Police said the victims appeared to have been “targeted”, but were unable to say anything clearly. Documents in a job discrimination lawsuit filed last year by suspect Raisa Kenge, show the names of the two victims among dozens. This is one of two lawsuits he has against the building management of 1280 West. She claimed to be an informant in a federal civil lawsuit, and the company and managers involved violated her civil rights and financial regulations.
